BP Fires top Exec for Ethnic Attire

BP fired a top executive after warning her that braiding her hair and wearing dashikis made her colleagues "uncomfortable," and that she should do so only "during 'culture day' [or] black history month," the former West Coast CFO claims in court.
This can only be appropriate if it was otherwise unprofessional (for example, unkempt dreads).  And even that is a slippery slope because what is considered professional for women is typically designed to keep them in a strictly defined gender box.
